As Scotland's national landlords' association, SAL has recently launched Members' Surgeries throughout Scotland and dates are constantly being added to the busy Autumn programme.
Members' Surgeries
Members of SAL benefit from being members of a national landlords' association and receive local support at the same time. As well as offering members a unique FREE legal helpline dedicated to Scottish housing law, we also offer members the opportunity to meet with our staff via local surgeries throughout Scotland in areas near you. Members can book a private appointment to discuss concerns, problems or training requirements.
Our Policy & Parliamentary Affairs Director is always available to hear your concerns and is on hand to take these issues up with your local councillors and MSPs. Wednesday 30th April 2008 saw the launch of Landlord Accreditation Scotland; a new partnership between SAL the SRPBA and the Scottish Government.
"The introduction of the landlord accreditation scheme, a scheme run by landlords for landlords, will further benefit both landlords and tenants in the private rented sector. For the first time tenants will be given the reassurance that their prospective landlords maintain and manage their properties to good standards."
