The Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL) is the professional body for Scotland's landlords. We assist landlords with their letting businesses, represent them when needed, lobby Government on all issues affecting landlords via our work at Holyrood, Westminster and with local government. We provide useful services including Landlord Focus magazine, email updates, discounted insurance, landlord training, member meetings and events, National Landlord Day annual conference, unlimited free letting helpline, all letting documents including tenancy agreements and useful factsheets.
Membership is open to all residential private landlords, letting agents and housing advisers/consultants. For details of benefits of membership, see this document. Members agree to abide by the SAL Code of Practice.
Individual membership is suitable for landlords/couples/families who let properties they themselves own.
Corporate membership is for letting agents who let properties owned by others.
