SAL's network of fourteen local branches are each led by a local branch representative. The representative's role is to run and host local branch meetings. These run one to three times or more per year, depending on the level of interest from demand from members in each particular area. The local branches represent SAL in each area, working with local authorities and other organisations where required. Representatives are also responsible for feeding back local members' views into SAL national policy. This in turn informs the SAL business plan, partnerships and activities. This work is carried out via the SAL National Council; the forum where local reps and the SAL board of directors meet regularly.
You can make initial contact with your local representative via the SAL office on 0131 564 0100 or by email email@example.com
